Thank you for your interest in applying to become a member of the Mangawhai Hills College whānau. This is how our enrolment and acceptance process works.
The first step to enrolment at MHC is completing the online form. Please note: this is not a guarantee of placement.
We’ll meet to become better acquainted with your family, understand your child’s needs, and ensure that MHC is the appropriate choice.
A non-refundable, one-off fee of $2,250 (incl GST) is payable. This will be deducted from the Term 4 fee in the first year.
Should you be offered a place, please confirm your acceptance in writing. You will be given guidance in preparation for your child’s start date.
Annual tuition fees are payable a term in advance, and they are non-refundable. You will receive a receipt for every payment. Our current fees are $16,000 per annum ($4,000 per term) incl. GST. Additional costs may be payable as required. These include examination fees (Year 10, 11+), camp fees, and costs for extra-curricular events and competitions.
Completing the form is the first step towards your child’s enrolment. Once we have received your application, we will be in touch with further information. All details you give us will be treated in strict confidence. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to meeting you and your whānau.
For our school’s ongoing operation, we will need to raise funds through donations, capital grants and student fees. If you can assist in any way, please get in touch. Funds from donations will also be used for future tuition scholarships.
